My life

I love magic so much I had to make a career of it

Magic has been a love of mine since I was 8 years old and I saw a close up magician while on holiday in Florida, I still remember the experience to this day. It left me with a feeling of wonder and a love of close up magic. I started performing professionally when I was in my 20's and it is my passion to pass on the feeling of wonder that drives me to keep performing.

I have won awards for stage magic in the past and enjoy watching all sorts of magic but my real love is in close up. For me nothing is more amazing than when you see something impossible right in front of your face.

I live in Rothwell, Leeds with my amazing wife Louise and with my three (usually) lovely children, Josh, Jessica and Jasmine. As well as my love (obsession may be a more suitable term) of magic, I love comedy, travelling the world and spending time with my family.

Some of my favorite events I've performed at:

Legoland Discovery Centre magic themed event + Skipton Building Society Leadership event

Its hard to have a favourite when you are doing what you love full time but being pushed I have to chose these two events.

In 2019 I was booked by the Legoland discovery centre in Manchester where I performed about 50 Lego themed magic shows (which was a dream come true as I love Lego) throughout the summer. It was incredible to be able to mix my love of magic and lego to create an amazing experience for all the kids and parents that came to the event.
Another brillant event was at the Harrogate Convention Centre working for Skipton Building Society at their annual leadership event. I worked with the team on a magic themed team building exercise with a short magic show at the end. We had 18 groups that day and it was extremely busy but lots of fun.
